Aug 1, 2016

The Short-Term Stay Program for students from South America in Tsuruoka was completed. It was implemented as a part of the “Double Triangle Program”. In Tsuruoka the theme was environment preservation. The students learned Japanese recycling technology, renewable energy and reuse of waste. They also studied various advanced research ideas on environmental protection in Yamagata University’s field work forest. Many students of YU’s Faculty of Agriculture participated in the program too, deepening exchange with the visiting students.
