Environmental Preservation Center

The Center, which was established as a university-wide research and education facility in April 2000, is one of YU's core institutions that plays a major role in supporting the University mission "Coexisting human and nature" and performs numerous professional functions in the field of environmental safety and sanitation. Among the functions are conducting education, research and marketing activities for environmental preservation, identifying the amount of lab waste disposal and its management status at campus facilities, visiting local waste disposal companies to investigate treatment and disposal conditions there, creating and operating a university-wide chemicals management system, ensuring labor safety and sanitation at the Faculty of Medicine and so on.
