Each of our four college campuses has a library with a combined total of one million volumes, approximately 23,000 periodicals, electronic resources including about 9,000 major scholarly journals, The Web of Science, and Japan Knowledge, one of the largest data bases in Japan. YU libraries also offer an institutional repository as well as a digital library of the history and culture of the versatile safflower, one of Yamagata's most famous agricultural products. These resources are available to students, university staff and the general public.
