This class studies and discusses issues on English linguistics. The classroom time will be spent in reading articles on Rhythm in Cognition and Grammar.

The goal of this course is to enable each student to find a topic for writing a final report.

・基準
Grades come from an oral presentation and a final examination that check students' expressions, interests, knowledge, understanding of rhythm in cognition and grammar.
・方法
An oral presentation: 50%
A final examination: 50%
