In this class, students will develop their overall communicative ability with an emphasis on speaking. In addition to speaking tasks, other communicative functions such as listening and writing will be included to develop overall skill.

【学習の方法】
・受講のあり方
Students will focus on speaking and listening to English for 90 minutes each week. Model conversations, pair-work, role plays and listening tasks will make up most of each class. There will also be some writing in your workbook. The goal of the course it to prepare you to interact successfully and confidently with other English speakers outside the classroom.
・授業時間外学習へのアドバイス
To increase motivation, students should try to listen to music, watch movies or read news in English in their free time.
【成績の評価】
・基準
The course is based on pair-work speaking and listening activities. Students who volunteer to speak out will receive credit towards class participation.
・方法
Your grade will be based on the following items:
Test (mid-term, final) 80%
Class Participation 20%
Students who fail to attend at least 2/3 of class will receive an automatic 0 for their course score.
