Project Contents

To achieve our goals, We will conduct 3 programs with project members (I) Learner-Centered Education Program(II) FD/SD Program(III) IR Program

(I) Program for “Learner Centered approach”

This program is to enhance ability of self-regulated learning and generic skills

学生主体型授業(アティブ・ラーニング)

Active Learning

In this program, we create the module of active learning and share it with network members. In the active learning, we place emphasis on group working, discussing and utilize LMS or SNS to enhance long distance communication and informal learning.
We have been creating movies that explain about good or bad examples of active learning and we will continue sharing and creating movies as a project deliverables with network members.

東日本広域圏大地連携ワークショップ

Joint fieldwork in the domestic area, east Japan

In this program, we conduct fieldwork in Hokkaido, Yamagata and some othes capital regions. This is the joint fieldwork among students from project member schools and all participants work together to solve the social issues in the regional area.

Joint fieldwork in in the internathional orcas

In this program, we conduct fieldwork not only in the domestic area but also international area. We collaborate with partner schools in US and Europe to make our project global.

(II) Program for “Faculty Development” and “Staff Development”

To improve education in each school, we conduct workshop for FD and SD with project members.

FD合宿セミナー

 Joint Overnight Training Seminar

To enhance faculties’ educational skill, we conduct two days one night training seminar at the ZAOH seminar house in Yamagata. Participants stay in the seminar house for 2 days, one night and discuss various educational topics related their daily practice; about scrubs, course plan and so on

Joint FD Workshop

To share the latest information about FD, we conduct FD workshop.

Joint Lesson Study

For professional development, we conduct lesson study and discussion with project members. The most highly skilled faculty will receive “The Best Teacher Award”.

Joint Student FD Conference

We conduct “student FD” to reflect FD activities from students’ point of view. In the conference, students in project members discuss their campus lives, major and the idea to improve them.

    They also combine face-face and online discussion with faculties to achieve their ideas.

 

大学間連携SD

Joint SD

The faculties and the staffs in the project members gather together and discuss their information and ideas to enhance their daily work. Participants create the movie files about teaching skills and daily work and share them with project members.

Joint FD & SD Training Seminar

To share the information of each practice, we conduct collaboration FD & SD training seminar. The faculties and the staffs from the project members join this seminar and have a round table session to discuss.

(III) IR Program

To guarantee and develop our education, we conduct and share the Institutional Research Program with project members.

Joint Survey of the Students’ Achievement

We conduct the achievement test to assess the improvement of student’ generic skill and self-regulated learning ability. All project members use the same form of “evaluation sheet” and they share the result.

Class Evaluation from students’ perspective

Students evaluate the classes through evaluation sheet.

Class Evaluation from faculties’ perspective

Faculties reflect their lessons and evaluate themselves through “Class evaluation sheet”.

FD & SD Survey

We conduct the survey of FD & SD to project members to assess FD & SD programs.

Needs Survey

We conduct the survey to clarify the needs of stakeholders.
