School of Collaborative Regional Innovation and Data Science (CID)

The School of Collaborative Regional Innovation and Data Science seeks to admit students who possess the three CsChallenge, Cooperation, and Contribution—and who have the foundational academic skills cultivated in high school or equivalent institutions. We welcome individuals who demonstrate initiative in their learning and research and who are capable of working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds to address complex issues facing local communities.

The desired student profile and the basic policy for admission selection are outlined below:

Desired Student Profile (The Three Cs)

  • Challenge: Individuals who are eager to take on the challenge of solving regional issues in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

  • Cooperation: Individuals who possess ethical awareness, social responsibility, and strong communication skills that enable effective collaboration.

  • Contribution: Individuals who are motivated to contribute to solving local issues and creating new value, with the aim of helping to realize a sustainable and fulfilling society for all.

Basic Policy for Admission Selection

To identify students who align with the desired profile, the School of Collaborative Regional Innovation and Data Science conducts both General Admissions and School Recommendation-Based Admissions I. Applicants are evaluated from multiple perspectives—academic performance, personal qualities, and potential—based on the school’s admission policy.
