Junji Kido, Highly Cited Researchers 2016

Junji Kido, Professor, Organic Materials Science, has been selected as a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher for 2016.

This marks the third consecutive year that Professor Kido receives this honor.  He is one of about 3000 researchers worldwide from broad fields of the sciences and social sciences, to receive the prestigious distinction which represents the top 1% of the most cited researchers for their field and year of publication.  Only highly cited papers in science and social sciences journals indexed in the Web of Science during the 11-year period 2004-2014 were surveyed.  Professor Kido is a leading researcher on material science, he has developed for organic electroluminescent devices.

In addition, YU is ranked the tenth place in Japanese research organization ranking, announcement on April 13, 2017 (Japan time), by the analysis of the number of the highly cited papers in a materials science field alone in the Japanese local national university.  This result shows that YU comes to be capable of being ranked among the world, and more expectations will be gathered in the future research and development in this field.
