From Yamagata Station to Kojirakawa Campus

    • Yamako Bus (to Japanese Page):
      Take Bus bound for Yamagata Kencho [Yamagata Prefectural Office] to the Yamagata Nanko-mae, Yamadai Iriguchi [Yamagata Minami High School, Yamagata University Entrance](about a 7-minute ride), then a 7-minute walk.

University Shuttle Bus Service

The university shuttle bus runs between Kojirakawa Campus and Yamagata Station, and between Kojirakawa Campus and Seimei Dormitory (in Hirashimizu). The fare is JPY100 per ride. To board a bus, you will need to purchase a ticket(s) in advance that can be purchased at a vending machine in front of the Information Center on Kojirakawa Campus. You can get 11 tickets for the price of 10 (1000 yen). The shuttle bus service is available on weekdays. There will be no service on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and semester breaks unless otherwise notified.
