The counseling counter is on the 1st floor in the Student Service Center on the Kojirakawa campus and is open from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays (except for holidays).

You can ask anything, including where classroom and laboratory locations are, about your studies, daily lives and things distressing you as well as where to go when you are not sure how to handle something. We also provide anonymous consultations. We can help students find on-campus or off-campus counseling or organizations such as an adviser (teacher) and the Health Administration Center (for mental and physical troubles) after obtaining student consent in accordance with the consultation details.

Consultation by telephone or email is also possible. Be careful about the following if you use email for consultation:

1. The reply from the counseling corner may not arrive, and accordingly, refrain from sending an email from your cell phone.
2. Put your student ID number, name and telephone number as the subject of your email. (If you would like to make it anonymous, these parts can be omitted.)
3. Describe your consultation contents briefly.
4. We may not reply immediately after we receive your email. If you are in a hurry, use your telephone.
5. Counselors (clinical psychologist) or psychiatrists handle mental issues; you can directly come to the student counseling room in the Health Administration Center for a consultation.

Student counseling room

A student counseling room is available on each campus. The student counseling room has a specialized counselor, who is clinical psychologist. In the room, you can talk about any and all distressing issues such as relationships with others, lovemaking, personality, family matters, your future , life and mental health. You can rest assured because everything personal is confidential and strictly protected.

Counseling about campus harassment

A counseling counter is on each campus.

In addition to people who have had problems with campus harassment, representatives requested by the international student and informants other than the international student can also come to the counseling counter for counseling. Counseling is even available anonymously.

Don't be distressed and alone; come to the counseling counter for counseling. In addition to direct face-to-face counseling, counseling via letters, telephone, fax and email are available.
