【授業の目的】
In this class, students will develop their overall communicative ability with an emphasis on listening. In addition to listening tasks, other communicative functions such as speaking and writing will be included to develop overall skill. (NB: Please add your own class objectives as necessary).

・授業の方法
指定したテキストを中心に授業を行います。毎回、授業内容を確認する小テストを行います。その他、教材等を配布することもあります。授業中に発言を求めることがありますので、その時は積極的に参加するようにして下さい。

【学習の方法】
・受講のあり方
必ず予習をして、テキストの内容を正確に読み取り、理解してから、授業に臨んで下さい。それを土台として、授業中には積極的に参加して下さい。発言をする時は、他の受講生にも聞こえるような大きな声で発言して下さい。授業が終わった後には、きちんと復習できるようにしっかりとノートを取って下さい。
・授業時間外学習へのアドバイス
毎回、授業内容を確認する小テストを行いますので、授業にきちんと参加して下さい。次回に進むであろう箇所の予習も、必ずやってきて下さい。
【成績の評価】
・基準
環境問題や人間の健康についての英語をある程度理解して、それにまつわるリスニング力を身につけたことを合格の基準とします。
・方法
Final Exam 30％ + Quizzes 40％ + Class Participation 30%
上記の60％以上の得点を合格とします。
