Conversation and Discussion
This course will develop a sound English foundation for future study.

Students will read and watch videos on a variety of topics. Students will discuss current events and other topics of interest. Students will reflect and write about their thoughts and opinions.

【授業計画】
・授業の方法
In class, we will primarily use the PDR (Preparation, Discussion, and Reaction) approach. Before class, students will typically read anews story or watch a TED talk. In class, students will work in pairs and groups to discuss their opinions. At the end of class, students will reflect and write about what they have learned.

・受講のあり方
Students will be responsible for individual, pair, and group work.
・授業時間外学習（予習・復習）のアドバイス
Students should read through the handouts, check vocabulary, and complete written exercises before coming to class. Students will also be responsible for watching TED talks
To improve your overall English ability read as many Graded Readers (third floor, university library, Call number around 837.7) as you can throughout the semester.
