Students will build upon their knowledge from the "Introduction to Intercultural Communication" course. Students will learn more deeply how culture affects communication, behavior, and beliefs.

By the end of the course, students will be able to talk about common misunderstandings between cultures and how to avoid them.
Students will raise their awareness about common forms of communication breakdown between Japanese and English speakers.

Students will partake in task-based exercises, role plays, and presentations to practice vocabulary and expressions.

To improve your overall English ability read as many Graded Readers (third floor, university library, Call number around 837.7) as you can throughout the semester.
