Course
Description
(including Goal and Objectives)
Goal

To understand why problems specific to Japan require new technologies and how these technologies are developed at Yamagata University.

Objectives

1. To learn and understand Nanotechnology at Yamagata University.

2. To learn some mechanical problems particularly relevant to Japan. The problems have emerged because of Japans special geographical features.

3. To learn the fundamental AI techniques used for game programming and how these techniques are used to make a World Champion level computer program for shogi (Japanese chess)
