Description
(including Goal and Objectives)
The goal of this course is to be able to read and write frequently used kanji words that appear in Minna no Nihongo Shokyu II, the textbook used in the Japanese 2 Integrated Skills course. Students will learn about 300 new kanji on top of the 220 kanji studied in the Kanji 1 course.
Learning kanji is an essential part of building vocabulary to improve reading and writing abilities. New kanji words are introduced in each lesson embedded in phrases, sentences and brief texts. Students will also expand their vocabulary by comparing the meaning of homonyms and categorizing synonyms and antonyms.
