Mini World Experience in Zao 2017, International Exchange Program, was held on August 23-30, 2017.  12 YU students and 11 foreign students (from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Latvia, Kenya and Peru) participated this program.

English was the language to be used in this program, they discussed and learned about disaster prevention and technology.  Also they visited Yamagata Prefectural Office, Yamagata Meteorological Office and Yamagata Broadcasting Co., Ltd.

During this program, foreign students home-stayed for 2 days in Yamagata.  Before the home-stay, they learned some Japanese phrases and manners.

While sharing some experiences with Japanese and foreign students through the discussion and presentation, understanding of cultural difference and language helped to widen their global mindset.
