Nagisa Tomiyama, Faculty of Literature and Social Sciences, is the winner of Miss Hanagasa 2017.

Tomiyama belongs to the seminar about economics, and she learns economics in Yamagata using the model of macroeconomics.  She studied English in Australia last year, she met new discovery in her life, and changed what she want to do in the future.

She loves her hometown, Yamagata, very much.  In order to let many people know about Yamagata, she applied for Miss Hanagasa 2017, and she won the contest.  She plays an important role to inform the public widely about Hanagasa Festival and her lovely hometown Yamagata.
