A glocal perspective on the sports industry and policy

In this laboratory, we focus on research themes related to the sports industry, leisure and health industries, sports and health policies, and cross-cultural comparisons. Examples include analyzing the marketing strategies of professional sports teams, sports event management, examining sports and health policies in various countries, and studying the transformation of traditional sports cultures. To deepen our understanding of diverse cultures, lab members conduct annual fieldwork in Taiwan, where they explore the characteristics of local sports cultures and their related industries.
