The Faculty of Agriculture has a single department that offers three courses. The themes of education and researches are including "production, distribution and processing of safe and reliable agricultural and livestock products," "the development and utilization of materials of nutraceutical food, etc.," "the maintenance and conservation of the natural environment" and "the activation of local areas." A lot of fieldworks and experiments are conducted in distinctive courses offered by the Faculty.

The Faculty aims to foster people who have a comprehensive knowledge of food, life and the environment, and who make efforts to solve problems related to the lives of people and the environments in which people live and that are required to be solved urgently for human society in the 21st century, and to create a society that recycles resources and is respectful of the environment.
