While the rapid development and advance of science and technology is increasingly subdividing specialty fields, the development of new boundary areas and interdisciplinary areas beyond the conventional academic frameworks is powerfully integrating science and technology. The Graduate School of Science and Engineering aims at nurturing flexible and creative scientists and engineers with advanced expert knowledge and abilities based on a wide range of basic academic skills in order to maintain and further develop advanced science and technology in a variety of fields.

Philosophy and Goals

The Master's Program (Science) teaches integrated and interdisciplinary advanced knowledge based on core sciences. It fosters expert professionals and technologists with a wide perspective for flexible thinking and rich basic academic skills who can cope with rapid social changes and the innovation of science and technology, and play leading roles in research and development and on production sites.

The program desires students who:

The program desires students who:
